Savuti lies in the central southern Chobe national park. This is one of the most spectacular regions of Botswana offering the wildlife enthusiast a very rewarding experience. The unpredictable Savuti channel can be dry for many years before suddenly starting to flow, then, without warning, it will simply dry up again. This is also the crossing point for the second largest zebra migration in the world, as the Zebras move between the Makgadikgadi and the Linyanti areas.
