Day 1 : Cape Town

Depart Australia on your flight to Johannesburg

Days 2 - 3 : Cape Town

On arrival into Johannesburg, connect on a flight to Cape Town. Transfer to your hotel. The tour starts on day 2 with a pre-departure meeting at 1800h in the lobby of the hotel.

Day 3 depart for a full day peninsular tour. Driving along the Atlantic seaboard via Hout Bay & Chapman's Peak, we visit the Table Mountain National Park - Cape Point, returning along the Indian Ocean Coastline. A morning or afternoon cable car ascent up Table Mountains is included (weather permitting)

Day 4 : Karoo

This morning, we leave Cape Town and head North through breathtakingly beautiful scenery passing through Namaqualand which between the months of August to October, bursts with colour as the wild flowers bloom and arrive in the historic town of Calvinia.

Day 5 : Green Kalahari

Today we head north to the Augrabies Falls National Park. We pass through a lush oasis area with abundance of wine farms. We spend the afternoon enjoying the falls from it's many viewpoints.

Days 6 - 7 : Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park

We head north to the magnificent Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Covering over 3.6 million hectares, this is one of the largest reserves in Africa. We enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the park.

Day 8 : Fish River Canyon

Leaving the Kalahari, we go west, crossing the border into Namibia. Namibia was a German colony until the end of the First World War when the League of Nations made South Africa its administrator - re-naming the country South West Africa, it was not until 1990 that Namibia finally regained its independence.

Days 9 - 10 : Sossusvlei

We head north to our camp. The following morning is an early departure for Sossusvlei, the worlds highest sand dunes. We undertake a 5km walk to Sossusvlei & Deadvlei. In the afternoon we enjoy a short hike through the Sesriem Canyon.

Days 11 - 12 : Swakopmund

We reach the coast at Walvis Bay & enjoy lunch while viewing the many flamingos feeding. Arrive at Swakopmund and spend the afternoon & following day exploring this German colonial town.

Day 13 : Damaraland

We drive inland through the Damaraland reigion with its vast and rugged terrain. Our lodge is located on top of a mountain with spectacular views of the surrounding area.

Spend the afternoon taking in the incredible setting or simply relaxing by the pool.

Day 14 : Etosha South

Today we proceed to Etosha National Park where we enjoy our first game drive and relax by the floodlit waterhole in the evening where there is an abundance of wildlife that congregates around the waterholes.

Day 15 : Etosha East

This park is one of the most important reserves and game sanctuaries in Africa with thousands of wild animals such as blue wildebeest, springbok, zebra, kudu, giraffe, cheetah, leopard, lion and elephant making this area their home.

Day 16 : Rundu

We depart Etosha and enter the Caprivi Strip to spend the night amongst lush vegetation overlooking the Okayango River and Angola.

Days 17 - 18 : Moremi Game Reserve

Continuing into the Caprivi we cross into Botswana. We transfer 2-3 hours by boat to Pepere Island in the delta. The following day we enjoy mokoro and game walks on the island. The activities included are Mokoro trips, scenic boat tours and game walks on the island.

Day 19 : Kwando River

Departing the Delta by boat, return to our vehicle and cross back into Namibia. Continue to the Eastern side of the Caprivi Strip and arrive at our lodge overlooking the flood plains of the Keando River.

Days 20 - 21 : Chobe River Front

Crossing into Botswana via Chobe National Park we stay overnight on the banks of the Chobe River. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery, magnificent sunsets and abundance of wildlife and birdlife.

The following day we relax on a sunset game viewing cruise on the Chobe River.

Day 22 : Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Today we travel across the Zimbabwean border to Victoria Falls - without doubt one of the greatest and most spectacular sights in Africa. The afternoon and morning is spent at your own leisure.

Day 23 : South Africa

Tour ends after breakfast with a transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your fliht to Johannesburg to connect with your onward flight to Australia.

Day 24 : End of Itinerary

Flight back to Australia
